The Social Enterprise Fund helps the poor to help themselves providing families with economic independence. Our Haiti Fish Development Project, Caribbean Harvest, is restoring the fishing industry in Haiti. SEF projects model the phenomenal success of the CODEP Project in Haiti. Production levels are increasing to match 2009 expansion targets. Fish production diverted to quake related food shortages until markets are restored.SEF is seeking funds needed to support Dr. Abe's aggressive 2010 expansion plans which call for a) 300 cages installed at 3 of Lake Azeui's 7 villages; b) a Commercial Fish Processing Plant; and c) a Solar System to provide reliable power for expansion needs. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! By training villagers to farm raise fish Caribbean Harvest offers income to scores of Haitians much above customary wages. |
